Hi there — welcome!
Thanks so much for stopping by. You're about to enter a collection of custom-built study materials put together by the Appraisal Toolbox to help students like you work through appraisal coursework with a little more confidence. Before you dive in, please take a moment to check off each of the acknowledgments below.
A quick peek at what you're getting into:
HOW WE USED TO LEARN
Scribbled, smudged, and erased before you finished copying
HOW WE LEARN NOW
Interactive, step-by-step, ready whenever you are
A few things to check off before you head in
1. No connection to the Appraisal Institute. I understand that the Appraisal Toolbox and everything on this site — the lessons, practice problems, and all the resources you'll find here — wasn't developed, approved, or endorsed by the Appraisal Institute. Everything here was created independently by the Appraisal Toolbox, which isn't affiliated with the Appraisal Institute or any of its affiliates in any way.
2. I'm a student, and I'm not paying to be here at the Appraisal Toolbox site. I'm currently enrolled in an appraisal course, and I'm using the materials on the Appraisal Toolbox site free of charge — no fees of any kind (licensing, subscription, or otherwise), no compensation, and no exchange of services. Neither my instructor for the course nor anyone else connected to the Appraisal Toolbox solicited me to be at this site. I am here voluntarily and without persuasion or influence from my instructor, and I didn't end up on this page because of any advertising or promotional effort on their part.
3. Access is a privilege, not a right. I understand that entering the Appraisal Toolbox doesn't give me any rights to the site or its materials, and that the Appraisal Toolbox can suspend or terminate my access at any time, for any reason.
4. This access is just for me. I understand that access to the content here is limited to the person who received an access code directly from the Appraisal Toolbox — that's me. If I share any of the content, materials, or my access code with anyone else, my access will be terminated immediately.
5. This is separate from my course. I understand that my use of the tools and resources here is entirely at my own discretion. These materials are not part of the course I'm attending and are not necessary in order to follow the course material presented by my course provider. In fact, my instructor has already advised me and the other students that we should not be accessing, using, reviewing, discussing, or otherwise giving any attention to the Appraisal Toolbox resources during scheduled course time.
🎉 And finally... Have fun, enjoy, learn, and become an appraiser!!
